ABOUT ME

Rix Roundtree-Harrison wrote his first book, an over-the-top homage to 1950’s

sci-fi B movies titled "Attack of the Tree Monsters" in 2000. Rix then wrote record reviews for the Internet based music magazine The Electrogarden Network, who offered Rix his own blog "Life Is Music." Rix was given the freedom to write whatever he chose; he was not relagated to music. Rix wrote pieces that combined his love of music, film and art with his personal stories and opinions. His most popular Life Is Music piece chronicled the evolution of the female action hero in film titled “Get Us Out From Under: Wonder Woman.” Electrogarden also serialized Rix’s sci-fi/murder mystery The Cars of Tomorrow. Writing for Electrogarden helped Rix learn his craft and was instrumental in the creation of the book, The Older You Get, The Dumber You Get: Stories For My Daughters.
